Iraola made a few changes to his starting line-up in midweek but is likely to field the strongest XI in this game. So, Alisson Becker should be in goal ahead of Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Jeremy Jacquet and Virgil Van Dijk are expected to be the two centre-backs for Liverpool, while Ronald Araujo and Milos Kerkez could be the two fullbacks. Therefore, Gomez, Jeremie Frimpong and Kostas Tsimikas would have to make do with a place on the bench.
Alexis Mac Allister is likely to commence in the defensive midfield position, and Dominik Szoboszlai might be in the box-to-box role, having scored an excellent goal in midweek.
Florian Wirtz may be in the creative midfield position; in that case, Ryan Gravenberch and Trey Nyoni would be among the substitutes.
