Sandeep Sharma is a 29-year-old Indian capped right-arm-pace bowler. He is currently a part of the IPL. He has represented India twice (2010,2012) in the ICC U-19 World Cup. His four-wicket haul in the 2012 ICC U-19 World Cup final helped the team to lift the trophy. Sandeep also became the highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

Sandeep Sharma began his Indian Premier League (IPL) journey in 2013. He signed his first IPL contract with Kings XI Punjab (Now Punjab Kings). Sandeep was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018, and he went on to play for the team franchise till 2021. The team may have changed but his spirit for bowling and cricket didn’t. He played 43 matches for SRH and took 41 wickets. His average came to a whopping 67.66, due to which he was dropped by the team ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

Sandeep had a rough patch since 2021. He only played 14 matches in 3 seasons of the IPL. Recently, he was introduced to the Playing XI of Rajasthan Royals after being unsold in IPL Auction 2023. He became an overnight star after his performance in the previous match against Chennai Super Kings.
