    IPL 2024: Mumbai Indians Signed This Star West Indian Player For Next Edition

    On Friday, November 3, the Mumbai Indians made an acquisition by signing the talented West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd, who was previously with the Lucknow Super Giants. Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is still a few months away, but teams have already begun bolstering their rosters in preparation for the upcoming player auction which is set to happen next month.

    West Indies fast-bowling all-rounder has made

    history by becoming the first player to transfer teams during the trade window. Teams are required to submit their final lists of released and retained players by November 26. The IPL released a media advisory confirming Shepherd’s move to the Mumbai Indians for a fee of INR 50 lakh.

    “Romario Shepherd has been traded to Mumbai Indians (MI) from Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) during the ongoing TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) trading window ahead of the TATA IPL 2024,” IPL media advisory statement said.

    Teams are anticipated to step up their efforts in the trade window and make valuable signings ahead of the auction. Although the Mumbai Indians currently have only INR 5 lakh remaining in their budget for the IPL 2024 auction, they are likely to increase their funds by releasing certain players.
