Tiger Woods’ TGL Teammate Slams CBS for Their Coverage of the Masters: “No Idea What They’re Doing”

Tiger Woods’ TGL teammate, Kevin Kisner, was involved with SiriusXM for the 2026 Masters. Following his team’s disappointing loss in the TGL Season 2 finals, Kisner became a 2026 Masters special announcer for the radio channel. The golfer discussed his experience, and in between, he slammed CBS for providing one of the worst coverages of the Masters.

Kevin Kisner appeared on the Foreplay Podcast and explained how CBS’s coverage of the Masters was overly delayed. He went on to say that while the channel was showing every shot by the golfer, some shots were delayed by 7-10 minutes, which is a lot for a live broadcast.

According to an X post by NUCLR Golf, Tiger Woods’ TGL teammate explained:

“I have no idea what they’re doing, literally no idea. They’re showing every shot on tape, and it’s incredible. I don’t even know how the announcers call it, honestly. I don’t understand how Cole can act like he doesn’t know what’s happening when it’s already happened.”

    Kisner went on to add:

“There were a couple of shots over the two days that I’m telling you were seven to ten minutes behind. It was unbelievable. I’m not trying to just criticize them, but having been in TV for years and seeing what our production team does, it was fascinating to me. I was just blown away, I’d never really paid attention before.”

Kevin Kisner had a rollercoaster year. He made a big impact on the Jupiter Links Golf Club, but his game was pretty inconsistent. Furthermore, he missed a crucial shot in the finals, Match 1, resulting in Tiger Woods replacing him in Match 2 of the finals.

Tiger Woods was on the verge of making his comeback on the golf course at the 2026 Masters. Unfortunately, all of those preparations were dashed after the golfer was involved in a rollover car accident near his home. Following that, he was arrested and is facing charges for driving under the influence and causing damage to public property.

Kevin Kisner reacted to this while broadcasting the 2026 Masters, claiming that he was devastated by everything that had happened. He highlighted that Tiger Woods was pretty determined to return, and everything that happened was extremely unfair to him.

According to an X post by Brendan Porath, Kisner stated:

“Very disturbing. He was really working hard on his game, trying to practice and get back in shape. He signed up for the U.S. Senior Open yesterday. He was trying to do anything he could to come back and try and help our TGL team, get ready, hopefully try and play the Masters. Just a really unfortunate incident, I guess, Brad, the only positive is that is nobody was injured in the incident, and we can all move forward and hopefully help him get better.”
