Darby Allin is having an impressive run as the AEW World Champion. He wants to be a fighting champion, and for that, he is regularly defending his title on AEW Dynamite. Recently, a top star in All Elite Wrestling gave his thoughts on The Daredevil’s title run, expressing a desire to get a title shot.
The star is none other than former AEW World Tag Team Champion Bandido. The latter has become a popular name in the world of professional wrestling due to his incredible title run as the ROH World Champion and his past few matches with top AEW stars. He has also been chasing the AEW World Championship for a while and had an amazing match with MJF on Dynamite a few months ago. Recently, Bandido talked about Darby Allin as the new AEW World Champion.
Speaking on The Sportster, Bandido said that he is enjoying Allin’s title run in AEW, expressing his disdain for MJF. The ROH World Champion added that he would like to challenge Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship down the line. However, for now, he wants to stay focused on what he has on his plate in professional wrestling.
“I’m very happy that now Darby is the AEW world champion. MJF sucks. So now it’s good for Darby, and just this last Wednesday, he had a match against my brother, Brody King, which was awesome. I hope I can get a shot against him. If not, well, I’m just going to be focused in this moment in the things that I have already, and then why not try again (for) the AEW World Championship?” Bandido said. [H/T: Fightful]

Tony Khan talked about Darby Allin as the AEW World Champion
Darby Allin’s AEW World Title win was a huge moment for him and his fans. He is one of the original members of All Elite Wrestling, who has given his all in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Therefore, a world title run was a long time coming for him. Recently, Tony Khan talked about Allin as the AEW World Champion in the company.
Speaking on Good Karma Wrestling, Tony Khan called Darby Allin a very special type of champion. He added that Allin has been a part of AEW since day one. The AEW President believes that he has improved and worked on himself to become one of the most talented names in wrestling today. Therefore, Tony states it is good to see such a star as a champion.
“Darby himself as a singles wrestler had never been the world champion until now, and he is on fire, doing great, great things, having great, great matches. A great representative for the sport, the first man in pro-wrestling history to climb Mount Everest. He’s done so many amazing things, and he’s a daredevil outside the ring, around the ring and inside the ring.
