Jack & Quinn Hughes’ agent fuels speculation over brothers playing on the same team – “Not gonna deny the fact”

While Quinn Hughes, Jack Hughes, and Luke Hughes play for three different teams in the National Hockey League, many fans have desired to see the brothers play together. Recently, their agent Pat Brisson spoke about the possibility of this happening.

On X, the official handle of The Sheet with Jeff Marek uploaded a clipping of their segment with Brisson in which the agent was asked about the possibility of Jack and Quinn Hughes hitting the free agent market in 2030. In his response, Brisson also brought up Luke Hughes.

“You know, between brothers, there’s always so many conversations. What about this, what about that? And, you know, but we haven’t really had any specific about this one perhaps. I mean, those are things that are, you know, it’s those are possibilities. I’m not going to deny the fact, but uh when you have three brothers getting together during the summertime or the in the offseason, rarely during the offseason, we have a lot of funny conversations about a lot of funny stuff that is very unique.”

Brisson further said that all three brothers are “studs.” He said it’s rare to see a combination like the Hughes brothers and credited them for moving the needle. Brisson concluded by saying it’s going to be a fascinating summer, and he looks forward to the next two months.

Jack Hughes once got an honest response from Quinn Hughes after expressing his desire to play together

During an interview last year, New Jersey’s Jack Hughes made an interesting comment by mentioning he would like to play with his brother Quinn Hughes. Jack said he would like to play with his brother in New Jersey or elsewhere.

“I’m not afraid to say it,” Jack said to Pierre LeBrun. “Eventually I’d love to play with him. And whether that’s in New Jersey or at what time that takes, at some point, I want to play with Quinn,” said Jack Hughes.

After his comments went viral and became a subject of discussion, Quinn Hughes responded to them. Quinn stated that Jack’s answer was obvious, given that they are brothers. While Quinn said he would love to play with his brother, he also brought up an important point.

“I mean, he’s my brother. What’s he supposed to say, first of all? `Like, I don’t want to play with him, you know?’ … I mean, we have contracts and whatnot. He’s on a different team. Would it be fun to play with those guys at some point? Of course. I think if you guys have brothers, you guys would say the same thing. But we do have contracts,” said Quinn.

At the time of the interview, Quinn was a part of the Vancouver Canucks. So, he said at the time that he was excited to be in Vancouver and had a lot of things to do with the team. He also added that Jack loves New Jersey and has his own stuff to do. 2 months after this interview, Quinn was traded to the Minnesota Wild.
