Seattle Seahawks wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba won the Offensive Player of the Year last season, en route to helping his team win the Super Bowl. However, the wideout wasn’t too pleased when the NFL made some errors while engraving his award.
On his Instagram story on Monday, Smith-Njigba showed that the NFL mistakenly sent him the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year award. In a separate IG story, the Seahawks WR also responded to the error.
Thanks for the submission!
“Just keep the award at this point. Leave it in the history books tho,” Smith-Njigba wrote on his IG story.
