Erling Haaland has already had an epic 2026 FIFA World Cup, and thanks to his goal in the 86th minute against Ivory Coast in the Round of 32, it isn’t over yet.
On Tuesday, Norway advanced to the Round of 16 with a 2-1 victory over Ivory Coast, and Haaland once again starred, scoring his fifth World Cup goal to give Landslaget its first knockout stage win in four World Cup appearances.
The Manchester City striker broke a 1-1 tie off a pair of perfectly placed passes, with Oscar Bobb connecting with Patrick Berg on a leading pass into the box, then Berg showing nice touch on the short cross to Haaland, who tapped the ball past Ivory Coast goalkeeper Yahia Fofana.
