Herschel “DrDisRespect,” who actively streams on Rumble, recently shared a 12-minute video on X titled “F*** Twitch and F*** Palworld,” in which he criticized both the Amazon-owned streaming platform and the monster-taming game created by Japanese developer Pocketpair. These comments were made while The Doc played some Call of Duty: Warzone in a regular desktop stream.
His criticisms of Palworld and streaming started after a viewer in his chatbox typed a message that the streamer sarcastically read out:
“Hi Doc! Happy Monday! Palworld was released over a week ago, and you haven’t played it yet? It seems like your type of game. What do you think?”
After acknowledging the viewer’s chat message and $7 donation, DrDisRespect asked:
“Is streaming becoming a dying industry? People play ****ing Palworld. What?”
After more comments came in, asking The Doc to play Palworld, he became more frustrated, firmly saying that he will not play the game:
“Play Palworld. I’m not ****ing playing Palworld. Are you kidding me? We are not playing Palworld. I don’t understand. I saw 10 seconds of gameplay. I said, ‘What the **** are we doing? Where’s this industry going? Are you kidding me?’ (‘It’s a top-grossing game on Steam… 1000+ concurrent players,’ said a viewer) I couldn’t imagine being a grown man playing that game.”
He continued his rant, claiming watching Palworld streams is not entertaining. Comparing the Palworld gaming experience to “being surrounded by fluffy stuffed animals,” DrDisRespect went to Twitch, or the “purple snakes platform” as he called it, to look at some Palworld streams.
As of this writing, Palworld on Twitch has an average of about 60,000 viewers across multiple channels, making it the fifth most popular on the platform. In reaction, The Doc pulled up some footage of the game, saying:
“This is the game that you want me to ****ing play… We cannot be ****ing serious about the two-time playing this game. You can’t be serious!.. Get this ****ing **** off my screen.”
DrDisRespect criticizes Streamer University and Valkyrae while looking through Twitch
In the same video, DrDisRespect came across a Valkyrae stream and called her out, saying:
“Let’s see how fake this is… (Sarcastically) ‘Oh, is that right?! I got no talent, and I’m sitting here, and I’ve got fluffies in my background too!’ Oh God… It’s ****ing terrible, terrible.”
Further, after coming across the Streamer University category, The Doc claimed he didn’t understand Kai Cenat’s event:
“Streamer University, there it is. I just don’t get that… I don’t get what that thing is… I just don’t.”
