    WWE superstar Cody Rhodes has revealed the greatest regret of his life. The SmackDown superstar is still reeling from his loss at SummerSlam in a WWE Championship match against CM Punk.

    A win at the Biggest Party of the Summer would’ve given him his fourth WWE Title. While Rhodes will be eager to resume his chase for the Championship, he recently shared a decision that he regrets.

    Rhodes’ American Nightmare neck tattoo is one of the most recognizable marks in pro wrestling. But it turns out, the 41-year-old isn’t a fan of it. Speaking with former WWE star Santino Marella on his What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, Rhodes said he respects the artwork and the artist but said the neck tattoo is a massive regret for him.

    “I stand by the fact that I think the work is great and the artist is great, but I also will reveal, as I think I’ve revealed on this pod before- the neck tattoo, I would widely consider the greatest regret of my life. I’ll live with it. I ain’t trying to get it removed. No, we’re gonna rock this till the very end,” he said.

    Cody Rhodes said that the size of the tattoo is what bothers him. He mentioned when he saw it, it was bigger than he expected. Rhodes also said if his father, the late Dusty Rhodes, saw it, he would not have approved.

    “If my dad was to come back to life, he would not say congrats. He would lose his sh*t. ‘You’ve ruined yourself,’” he added.

    Cody Rhodes confronted Randy Orton on SmackDown last week

    At SummerSlam, Randy Orton returned to cost Cody Rhodes the WWE Championship match against CM Punk. Orton was last seen at WrestleMania 42, when Rhodes beat him to retain the WWE Title.

    Last week on SmackDown, the American Nightmare interrupted Orton’s appearance on the blue brand, demanding an explanation for his actions.

    The Viper said he doesn’t answer to Rhodes, leading to a heated verbal altercation. Orton said as long as he is breathing, he won’t let Rhodes become the Champion again.

    Rhodes responded by saying he isn’t held to any Championship standards and doesn’t have to be the good guy anymore. He also said Orton is the last legend left in WWE and asked who kills him.
