ONE women’s atomweight MMA contender Natalie Salcedo of the United States is not looking for a simple fight at ONE Fight Night 46 on Friday, August 14.
Salcedo faces undefeated Polish contender Magdalena Czaban in an atomweight MMA bout at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok,
The 33-year-old veteran carries a BJJ black belt and a background in Muay Thai into the contest, making her one of the more complete technical packages in the division.
She has studied Czaban carefully and come away with genuine respect for the Pole’s ability to move fluidly between disciplines without a clear stylistic vulnerability to exploit.

The American told ONE Championship in her pre-event interview:
“A lot of her strength probably comes from just her ability to scramble. She definitely seems like somebody that’s comfortable wherever the fight goes. She’s comfortable moving between striking, grappling, and then getting into some different scrambles, especially grappling.”
She continued:
“I do think it’s gonna be a really fun matchup for people to watch because I think we’re both very comfortable wherever the fight goes, and we’re not necessarily going to be running away from the fight.”

Natalie Salcedo has spent this camp sharpening specific tools she believes will unlock a finish against Magdalena Czaban.
The BJJ black belt arrives with a clear sense of where the fight needs to go and the confidence that her grappling credentials give her the finishing ability to close it out.
“I’m pretty confident that in 15 minutes I can find a place to finish her from,” she told ONE. “And, I mean, like most atomweight fights, I think it’s probably not going to be from a knockout or anything like that, but I definitely think that I can sub her.”
