Angel Reese has set another WNBA record. The Atlanta Dream star officially made history during the Dream’s game against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday.
“She is the one,” the Dream shared in a post about Reese and her victory. “With her 29th double-double, Angel Reese now stands alone with the most in a single season in league history.”
Just a few days before, Reese set another WNBA record, notching 26 rebounds against the Sparks.
The game ended with an 89-81 Dream win. The good news for both teams is that both of them have a spot in the playoffs.

After the game, Dream coach Karl Smesko gushed over the team’s showing.
“You saw a different pace, a different energy about us right from the beginning,” Smesko said, according to CBS Sports. “Great team effort, great way to go into the break.”
Dream guard Jordin Canada also talked about the team’s stellar showing in the game.
“We were very disappointed in ourselves on Friday,” Canada said, per CBS Sports. “We knew coming into today this is not the type of team you want to play around with, so we knew we had to come out with a different mindset, a different intensity and a different energy.”
So, both the Dream and Reese have a lot to be happy about after Sunday’s win.
