One of Genshin Impact’s World Quests, The Stone Beasts, Like Ghouls Seated, gives travelers an objective stating: find a way to open the door to the Royal Hall. This quest step includes a few puzzles that can leave players wondering what to do; as with other World Quests, there isn’t much hand-holding.

The objective starts when you make your way into an open area alongside a massive door at the end of the road, with a large hanging furnace core on the ceiling, which will come in handy later on in the puzzle.
The main objective is to bring two gargoyle statues to the two plates, located on both sides of the stairs as shown in the image above.
Statue 1:
While looking at the huge door, direct your attention to the left side, where you will see a small arch entrance with water. Jump into the water, get the Cryoculus if you want, and then keep swimming to reach the stairs.
Follow the stairs until you find a couple of fountains holding up plates, one carrying an Exquisite Chest, and the other a gargoyle statue. You will also encounter a few enemies here.
Next, look through the window on your right at the furnace core hanging from the ceiling.
Shoot the core to turn it blue, and everything in your area will freeze, including the water fountain that is holding up the plates.
Shoot the frozen water that is holding the platform, and the gargoyle statue will come down.
Next, push the statue to the right side, then push it one more time to make it fall through the square hole in the ground.
Once the statue falls through the square hole, push it to the plate in front of the stairs near the door. This completes your first statue on one plate.
Statue 2:
Shoot the furnace core to turn it yellow, so all the ice becomes water once more. Next, standing with your back to the big door, look up and to the right, and then grapple to the platform as shown in the image below.
On the platform, interact with the mechanism. This will connect your platform with the other platform on the opposite side. Head to the other side, and you will locate the second gargoyle statue.
Turn the furnace core blue, and then push this statue to the location shown in the image below.
Shoot the core again to unfreeze everything, which will then allow a water fountain to raise the statue. Next, shoot the core once more to freeze the water. Hop on the statue’s plate, and push it further.
Keep pushing to drop the statue from the square hole, and then push it further onto the plate located in front of the main stairs near the main large door.
