You might have already seen the two Moots prototypes in our 32″ roundup, but they had another bike on hand at MADE that is likely even more exciting to many riders. The Moots Routt has been a popular gravel bike for the legendary titanium brand, but the current lineup has gotten a little confusing with all of the different models. Also, the biggest tire clearance you’ll find in the Routt lineup is 50mm, which puts it a bit behind the curve with gravel tires that are trending bigger and bigger.
With the next generation of the Routt, Moots not only plans to address the tire clearance concerns, but will consolidate the lineup into a single model (for now). That’s right, there will soon be only one Routt model, which means the end of the YBB soft tail option.
We’re told that the frame will soon fit up to a 57mm tire, though the geometry will be based around a 50mm tire as the ideal setup. While some current Routts can fit up to a 50mm tire, their geometry was optimized for a 45mm tire.
The new Routt will use straight-gauge titanium currently used in the Routt 45, with a threaded BSA 68mm bottom bracket, 47.5mm chainline, and fender mounts standard. Moots is targeting a price of $9,500 for a SRAM Force build and plans to launch sometime this month.

32″ Prototypes
As mentioned in the roundups, Moots had two prototype 32″ bikes on display with very little info about any possibilities. All we were told is that Moots COO Nathan Bradley has been testing one all summer, and that Moots is essentially waiting to see where the forks end up – a common thought for many frame builders out there currently.

Womble
Just before the show, Moots announced updates to their Womble MTB frame as well. Similar to the Routt, the MTB lineup will see a consolidation, likely with just two models – the recently updated Routt, and some kind of endurance XC frame that will be added in early 2027.
