Barcelona will be the meeting point to bid farewell to another season of the Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race. The city will host on Sunday November 22 the final event of the 2026 calendar, whose registrations open this coming Wednesday, September 16.
An opportunity to close out the year by sharing a sporting goal with friends, family, or fellow competitors—whether you’re taking the leap into a popular race for the first time or you already take part regularly.

With the start of the registration process, which will be carried out via the event’s website, the countdown begins for a day that will once again bring visibility to women’s sport on the streets of the Catalan capital and aims to encourage more women to incorporate physical activity into their daily routines.
A Bib as a Starting Point
Preparing for a race can become a motivation to start training, to regain a routine, or to dedicate more time to sport. That is one of the aims of the Women’s Race: to provide a first introduction to practicing sport and to support those who want to continue it.
The Barcelona event will bring together different approaches to this process. For some participants, the challenge will be putting on the bib for the first time; for others, returning to a race they share each year or seeing how they have progressed. All will find a place in an event that values each woman’s effort and the possibility of advancing from her own starting point.
Sharing that journey is also part of the proposal. Meeting up to train, discovering a shared hobby, or finding a group to maintain consistency are experiences that can begin with a registration and continue after crossing the finish line.
ASACO Joins +Solidarias in Barcelona
The event’s social commitment will also be present through +Solidarias, an initiative that in Barcelona will be linked to ASACO, the Association of Women Affected by Ovarian and Gynecological Cancer.
The organization provides information and support to affected women and works to raise awareness of gynecological cancers. Its involvement will bring this work closer to the race community and add a space for awareness within the sports event.
More Women in Sport
The Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race works to broaden female participation in sport and to help women find spaces where they can practice, enjoy, and feel like protagonists; in addition to maintaining a genuine social commitment from its origins.
The November 22nd day will carry that objective to the streets of Barcelona. Women from different generations will share a sporting experience that helps make visible the diversity of participants and create relatable benchmarks for those who have not yet taken the step.
Alongside this push for women’s sport, the race will maintain the social commitment that has been part of the circuit’s identity since its origins.
In Barcelona, 100% of the bib registrations will be made as charitable entries in favor of En Ca L’Aurelia, with the entirety of the proceeds from these registrations destined for that cause.
In 2026, the Central Lechera Asturiana Women’s Race has the main sponsorship of Central Lechera Asturiana, Oysho, and Banco Santander, alongside Marlente, Octopus Energy, and Neutrogena. Volvo is the official vehicle and Correos Express the official logistics provider. Cosmo, Cadena Dial and the Daiichi Sankyo | AstraZeneca Alliance also collaborate. The event has the support of the Ajuntament de Barcelona and adds local sponsors Ziaja, Batiste, Instituts Odontològics, GOYA, Planet Fitness, Compeed, Be-Kind, StandUp by L’Oréal, Fontarel and La Sirena.
