WWE drops a bombshell announcement on Solo Sikoa’s future

WWE has made a massive announcement on Solo Sikoa’s future.

On the September 17 episode of SmackDown, it was announced that Sikoa will face Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee in a Triple Threat Match on the upcoming episode of RAW. The winner will qualify for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

It will be Sikoa’s first televised match since 946’s backstage attack on the August 31 edition of the red brand’s show.

Solo Sikoa returns after the 946 attack

On August 24, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight faced The Usos in a tag team match when Royce Keys and OTM interrupted. Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price attacked everyone involved.

The following week, Sikoa was brutally attacked backstage by 946. LA Knight came to check on his friend, but Roman Reigns took him out with a Superman Punch.

Now, Solo has a chance to return by qualifying for Money in the Bank. Meanwhile, Dragon Lee will also look to bounce back after failing to win the Intercontinental Championship from Chad Gable.

The Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match already has three confirmed names. Bron Breakker and Je’Von Evans qualified on RAW, while Trick Williams earned his spot by defeating Rey Fenix and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat Match on the September 18 episode of SmackDown.

Solo Sikoa can now join them with a win on September 21. The former Bloodline member has gained massive popularity after turning babyface. The Street Champion is caught up in the Bloodline/946 conflict, but he could be a favorite to win the Ladder Match in New Orleans, should he qualify.

His ally, LA Knight, has already secured a massive title match against Roman Reigns at the Money in the Bank PLE. The Megastar confronted the OTC following the latter’s match against Penta in Mexico City and took him out with a BFT.

It remains to be seen how the event takes shape.
