Baltimore Ravens starting quarterback Lamar Jackson’s ankle injury may be more serious than initially thought.
Jackson suffered an ankle injury late in the first half of a 24-18 home win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. The Ravens listed him as questionable at halftime, and the QB didn’t return. He completed 15-of-20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns.
After the game, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter shared that ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley spotted Jackson wearing a walking boot. Baltimore rookie head coach Jesse Minter didn’t mention anything about the boot during his postgame news conference.

Minter said the coaching staff considered letting Jackson play in the second half against the Titans and didn’t signal that the ankle injury is a long-term issue. But the coach admitted he still needs to gather more information about the injury.
