Randy Orton was named as the inspiration for a surprising WWE star. Orton has not been seen since his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42.
In an interview with Witty Whittier on YouTube, Lyra Valkyria was asked to name a rivalry that got her into wrestling. The former champion shared that Randy Orton’s feud with Christian in the past inspired her, and then the former champion looked up to The Four Horsewomen in NXT as she started to train.
Thanks for the submission!
“I loved Christian and Randy Orton. That was the feud that got me into it, and then it was the Four Horsewomen of NXT as I started training,” she said. (H/T: WrestlePurists on X)

Lyra Valkyria and Bayley competed in the Fatal 4-Way for the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WWE WrestleMania 42 last month in Las Vegas. Paige and Brie Bella won the titles and are scheduled to defend them against The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez tomorrow night on RAW.
Orton lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania and brutally attacked The American Nightmare after the match. The Viper hit Rhodes with a punt to the head at The Show of Shows and then disappeared from WWE television. There was a report today that disclosed that Orton is dealing with a major back injury, and that is why he has been on hiatus.
Former WWE star reveals hilarious Randy Orton story
WWE veteran Maven recently shared a hilarious story about Randy Orton getting angry at a restaurant.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on the INSIGHT podcast, Maven shared that Orton was given oatmeal with water resting at the top of it at a Denny’s back in the day. The Apex Predator told the manager of the restaurant that he’d buy every box of oatmeal they had if they made it correctly.
“Orton looked at her and threw the oatmeal. So out comes the manager. And the manager looks and sees, and it was me and Orton and someone else. I’m not going to say who. And the manager sizes us up. I’m the smallest guy in the group. And the manager says, well, you’re going to have to pay for that oatmeal and the one they’re making. And in true Randy Orton fashion, he says, I’ll buy every box of oatmeal you got if you can get one of them right. And that was a tame day,” he said.
It will be interesting to see when Orton will be able to return to WWE television.
