WNBA star Angel Reese turned heads on Sunday when she arrived at Gateway Center Arena before their game against the Las Vegas Aces. Reese wore a black latex outfit before the contest, and fans loved how she pulled it off.
Some people drew attention to the fact that it was identical to what Flau’jae Johnson wore on draft day. Both basketball icons had the same black latex dress and gained attention.
Below is back during the 2026 WNBA draft, where Johnson showcased her fit.
After seeing the two, fans on X reacted to what the Atlanta Dream star wore.
“this is why angel reese is the face of the league. caitlin clark couldn’t pull off this outfit,” a fan said.
“🔥 matrix vibes,” another fan commented.
“Woahhh loving this all black leather outfit from head to toe 🐐🫂🤩” one fan said.
Other fans did not think much about what Angel Reese wore before the game.
“You’d think if she put as much effort in to her craft than her effort to dress up to walk in to a dressing room she would be able to shoot at least 50% FG from within 6ft,” someone commented.
“Why is every entrance a runway walk? She’s nothing special to look at and is not great at basketball. I don’t get it,” a comment read.
“At what point do we stop glazing the worst player in the league ?” one fan commented.
Angel Reese Had a Disappointing Home Debut for Atlanta
As the home opener for the 2026 season, Sunday night was particularly memorable for Dream fans. Many were hoping the team would perform at its best, especially since they faced the defending champions. Unfortunately for Atlanta, they lost 85-84 and experienced their first defeat of the year.
One of the highlights of the game was how Angel Reese performed. The WNBA star struggled to be an effective player and finished with nine points, eight rebounds and three assists on an abysmal 1-for-8 shooting. On top of that, the former LSU forward also had eight turnovers, with six coming in the first half.
Coach Karl Smesko had to take her out of the game in the middle of the fourth quarter, and she did not return to the game. Without Reese on the floor, the Dream was able to mount a comeback, and they tried to win the game. However, that was not enough, and the team still lost the game.
Angel Reese was outplayed by last year’s MVP, A’ja Wilson. The Aces star had 20 points, six rebounds and two blocks. The next time the two teams will face each other will be in August.
