    Top 5 highest individual scores in IPL Qualifier 1 history ft. Rajat Patidar, 2026

    Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) skipper Rajat Patidar slammed a sensational 93* off just 33 balls in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2026 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Tuesday, May 26. He was named Player of the Match as RCB thumped Gujarat Titans (GT) by 92 runs to reach the final of the IPL for the second consecutive season.

    Sent into bat by GT, RCB put up a huge score of 254-5 on the board. Apart from skipper Patidar, Virat Kohli (43 off 25) and Krunal Pandya (43 off 28) also made crucial contributions. In the chase, GT were knocked over for 162 in 19.3 overs as Jacob Duffy claimed three wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rasikh Salam Dar and Krunal picked up two wickets each.

    AB de Villiers slammed an unbeaten 79 off just 47 balls against Gujarat Lions (GL) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2016 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB were set to chase 158 in this match and got home in 18.2 overs, with four wickets in hand.

    Batting at No. 3, De Villiers clubbed five fours and five sixes to lead RCB’s victory charge with the bat. RCB had crumbled to 68-6 in the chase. However, De Villiers and Iqbal Abdulla (33* off 25) combined to take RCB past the finish line.

    Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) opener Michael Hussey hammered an unbeaten 86 off 58 balls against Mumbai Indians (MI) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2013 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. CSK batted first in this contest and put up 192-1 in their 20 overs. Hussey struck 10 fours and two sixes in his knock as CSK won the contest by 48 runs. MI were bowled out for 144 in 18.4 overs.

    Suresh Raina also scored an unbeaten 82 off 42 balls for CSK against MI in Delhi in Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2013 edition. After Hussey and Murali Vijay added 52 for the opening wicket in 7.2 overs, Raina and Hussey combined to add an unbroken 140 for the second wicket. Raina struck five fours and as many sixes during his 64-minute stay at the crease.


    #2 Jos Buttler (89 off 56) – RR vs GT in Kolkata (IPL 2022)

    Jos Buttler slammed a scintillating 89 off 56 balls of Rajasthan Royals (RR) against GT in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2022 at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Buttler’s brilliance, however, ended up in a losing cause as GT won the game by seven wickets, chasing down a target of 189.

    Batting first, RR posted 188-6 on the board. Buttler dominated the innings, slamming 12 fours and two sixes even as Sanju Samson contributed 47 off 26. Buttler’s knock ended when he was run out off the last ball. His efforts, however, went in vain as David Miller clubbed 68* off 36 in the chase.

    RCB skipper Patidar‘s 93* off 33 features on top of the list of highest individual scores in Qualifier 1 of the IPL. Patidar struck five fours and as many as nine sixes in his blazing innings. He added 95 runs for the fourth wicket with Krunal in just 45 balls and an unbroken 40 off just 12 balls for the sixth wicket with Jitesh Sharma (15* off 5) as RCB posted a big total and cruised into the IPL 2026 final.
