San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle showed that his blocking skills are not limited to NFL. On Sunday, he stepped up to defend his wife, Claire Kittle, after an online troll attempted to call her out for a supposed wedding fashion faux pas.
It started after George posted a photo with Claire, showing off the outfits, which the couple wore to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

One of his followers commented, “White to a wedding?!?!?!” while referring to Claire’s dress. George quickly shut down the user.

“It’s a blue dress check ur eyes! 🩵” he fired back.
Claire was, in fact, wearing an ice-blue gown with a tiered crystal neckline.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, who also attended the wedding, complimented Claire’s dress.
“This dress was everything🔥🔥🔥, perfection😍,” she commented.
However, on Thursday, the day Kelce and Swift’s wedding rehearal dinner took place, George and Claire faced brutal backlash from NFL fans and Swifties over wearing casual outfits.
“Tacky & Classless,” commented one fan with the hashtag “embarrassing.”
“Security, please escort them the f**k out,” another fan wrote.
Notably, George Kittle wore a jacket over a white shirt with gray shorts and completed the look with red-and-white Nike sneakers. His hair was pulled up in a man bun with shaved sides. Meanwhile, Claire wore an asymmetrical black dress.

On Saturday, Claire Kittle posted a behind-the-scenes photo, where 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin, appeared to help her with a wardrobe malfunction.
In the snap, Kristin, was seen holding up the light pastel blue dress, which Claire later wore to the Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce wedding.
“Kristin Juszczyk saved me again,” Claire wrote. “Had to cut the lining in my dress the zipper was stuck.”
Kristin is a fashion designer and is the co-owner of Off Season brand.
Kristin and her husband, Kyle Juszczyk, were also among the wedding guests.
Taylor Swift previously wore one of Kristin’s custom-designed puffer jackets to the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Miami Dolphins AFC Wild Card playoff game on Jan. 13, 2024.
It was the viral catalyst that truly launched Kristin’s sports-fashion empire. Thus, for Kristin, it was a full-circle moment for her to be in attendance.
