The International Cricket Council (ICC) issued a warning and one demerit point to the Indian pacer Gurnoor Brar for his aggressive action against the England opener Ben Duckett in the first match of the ongoing 3-match ODI series.
In an official press release on July 16, informs that Gurnoor Brar’s action in the India vs England 1st ODI match in Birmingham was not appropriate for a cricket match.

The Council found that the Team India fast bowler has breached Article 2.9 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “throwing a ball at or near a player in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner during an international match.”
In the 8th over of the first innings of the match, the fast bowler aggressively threw the ball at the England batter, Ben Duckett.
