The Kortz Center has been in GTA Online and GTA 5 ever since the titles were released in 2013. It has been the center of some of the most iconic moments in the story mode, but has remained fairly unused in the multiplayer title. Recently, however, Rockstar Games has added a new heist in which we infiltrate the complex and steal valuable artworks from it.

Detailed description of the building
The in-game structure is inspired by the Getty Center in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. The parking lot and its overall architecture are influenced by the Getty Research Institute building, while the rest of the property is inspired by the J. Paul Getty Museum complex.
The in-game museum is located on Kortz Drive in Pacific Bluffs, northwest of Los Santos, and can also be accessed on foot from West Eclipse Boulevard.
The Kortz Center is divided into four sections: Low Rotunda, Bell Building, Biranda Building, and Moseley Building. The entire area features sculptures, multiple terraces, gardens, and even a hedge labyrinth.
After it gets closed for the night, several security guards will spawn in and around the structure. You will get a one-star Wanted level if you get spotted inside.

Events in GTA 5
“The Wrap Up” mission in GTA 5 is entirely set on top of the center’s Bell Building. Michael De Santa meets with his FIB handlers Dave Norton, Steve Haines, and Andreas Sanchez, which suddenly becomes a standoff and eventual wide-scale shootout between Michael, Agent ULP, his IAA team, an FIB team led by Sanchez, and Merryweather Security.
After things get heated, Trevor Philips arrives to assist Michael, shooting down the Merryweather helicopter and causing it to crash in the center’s courtyard.
Bell Building features a heist in GTA Online
In GTA Online, the Kortz Center was not used for many years until 2026, when Rockstar Games released The Kortz Center Heist DLC on July 14.
In this heist, players steal artworks from the Albert Crisp Collection, displayed in the Bell Building. The mission involves infiltrating the complex quietly and stealing from its galleries. You need to own a Mansion and an Art Studio in it to start this heist, making it one of the most expensive ones in the game.
With the update, the developers introduced structural changes to the center as well, like adding a new skylight on top of the Bell Building. New Bell Building interior is also designed for this heist, with two floors filled with artworks and a basement with a highly secure vault housing the most expensive paintings.
In the heist, players can enter the Bell Building in four different ways: Sewers in the Maze area, Staff Entrance beside the ground floor, Skylight on the roof, and Delivery Entrance beside the maze.
Along with the entrance, developers also added small details around the Kortz Center, like construction and maintenance props with a manhole key, an electricity box for EMP, and more.
