IPL 2023: Wasim Jaffer Reappointed Punjab Kings Batting Coach

Prior to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season, Wasim Jaffer, a former Indian cricketer, was re-hired as the batting coach of the Punjab Kings (PBKS). Prior to leaving the franchise before the IPL 2022 mega-auction, the ex-cricketer had previously served in the same capacity with the team. Along with Jaffer, Punjab has added Brad Haddin and Charl Langeveldt to their coaching roster.

To enhance their performance in the lucrative Indian Premier League, the Punjab Kings are undertaking a significant makeover. Anil Kumble’s contract was not renewed, hence they replaced him. In September, Trevor Bayliss was named head coach in place of Kumble. In addition, they released their under-fire captain Mayank Agarwal from the team before the December auction.
