Roman Reigns’ WWE title defense brings in massive numbers for RAW

Roman Reigns’ recent World Heavyweight Championship match brought in massive viewership for WWE RAW. The Head of the Table is currently the leader of The Bloodline on the red brand.

As pointed out by WrestleNomics, the viewership for last week’s episode of RAW was 3,100,000 global viewers. The show in Mexico City was headlined by Roman Reigns successfully defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Penta. LA Knight marched to the ring after the match and planted The Tribal Chief with a BFT.

Reigns will be defending the title against Knight at Money in the Bank 2026 next month in New Orleans. Last week’s show had the highest viewership since the WWE RAW after WrestleMania 42, despite going up against tough competition with Monday Night Football.

The Bloodline is involved in an intense rivalry with 946 (Royce Keys and OTM) on RAW. Royce Keys’ faction set The Bloodline’s car on fire earlier this month and kidnapped Solo Sikoa during last night’s show.

Roman Reigns captured the World Heavyweight Championship by outlasting CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42. He forced Jacob Fatu to join his faction by defeating The Samoan Werewolf in a Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy.

Major WWE star opens up about potentially facing Roman Reigns

SmackDown star Sami Zayn discussed the possibility of battling Roman Reigns later this year.

Zayn is the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion and also spent some time in The Bloodline in the past as an “Honorary Uce.” Speaking on Busted Open, The Last Real Good Guy discussed possibly facing Reigns at Crown Jewel 2026 and claimed that it would be an awesome opportunity.

“Man, I think that would be awesome. And I think the storytelling on the way to that would be incredible. You talk about Roman, if you want to talk about something that’s just been reinforced, that’s what it is, his act is so bulletproof and airtight because he understands what he’s trying to accomplish.
