LIMA, Peru – After scoring in an international friendly and making a name for herself for Peru last summer, North Florida women’s soccer alumna, Ariana Munoz, was tabbed to the Peruvian Football Federation’s National Team for the second time in as many years.
Munoz made last year’s roster after showing off her abilities during training camp and during friendlies, scoring on a cross during their match against Mexico June 28, 2022.
She went on to represent Peru on the country’s Copa America roster in July, taking on Argentina, Venezuela, Uruguay and Brazil as a starter.
After transferring in from Miami, Munoz started 28 games for the Ospreys, scoring three goal while dishing out six assists. The Bolles HS graduate helped UNF go 23-13-8 during her three seasons in the Navy and Gray.
