Jamie Carragher completely threw his criticism of Mohamed Salah out the window as the Liverpool winger scored twice against Newcastle.
The former Reds star watched his side play at St. James’ Park on the Overlap live stream alongside Gary Neville, Ian Wright and Roy Keane.

While his co-pundits were focusing on Arsenal’s clash with Manchester United, Carragher was homed in on the Premier League leaders.
And when Salah netted an equaliser to make it 2-2 in second half, Carragher couldn’t contain himself.
He dived onto Neville celebrating, before jumping up and falling to the floor to watch the replay.
“Why don’t they just give him the contract?” he shouted.
“Give them what they want!”
Carragher is of course referring to Salah’s recent claims he hasn’t been offered a new Liverpool contract yet, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
Despite being a big fan of the Egyptian, Carragher criticised the winger for those comments, calling him ‘selfish’.
Speaking on Monday Night Football for Sky Sports, he said: “Of course there’s been discussions.
“Right now, there’s obviously a big difference in the valuation, what Mo Salah and his agent value themselves at, whether that’s financially or in terms in length of contract, to what Liverpool do.
“So the reason Liverpool wouldn’t have offered a contract yet is because Mo Salah will turn it down.

“So they’re still in talks, maybe… I’m desperate for them to meet in the middle.
“But I must say, I am very disappointed with Mo Salah.”
But just over a week later, Carragher has totally changed his tune.
As Salah netted Newcastle’s third to put his side in front, Carragher took his celebrations to another level.
This time he clambered over Neville’s shoulder, rolling over onto the floor.
“GIVE HIM WHAT HE WANTS!” he screamed as the others cracked up laughing.
Asked if he regrets calling him selfish, Carragher said: “He was thinking about himself, do it behind the scenes.
“It’s like an argument with your Mrs, put on a united front and sort it behind closed doors.”
He added with a smile: “Micah Richards just text me saying give him what he wants.”
Unfortunately for Carragher and Liverpool, Newcastle came back and equalised to make it 3-3 through Fabian Schar after Reds goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher misjudged the flight of the ball, which was subsequently turned in by the defender.
