WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch handed a young star a new name in a recent backstage promo. The Man got into a scuffle with the star on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.
On the May 4 edition of the red brand’s show, former NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca officially joined the main roster as a RAW star. Becky Lynch interrupted the contract signing as she showed up to confront Adam Pearce. However, Ruca and Lynch got into a verbal back-and-forth instead.

The Irish star attempted to punch the 26-year-old, who got out of the way, and Lynch inadvertently hit the RAW General Manager. The segment ended with Ruca flooring the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion with a Sol Snatcher.
After the show, Becky Lynch took to Instagram to post a video of herself addressing what happened on WWE RAW. While speaking about the former NXT star, Lynch mocked her by referring to her as “Sol Puka.”
“Did you say her name is Sol Puka? Who’s that Sol Puka? Well, she makes me want to puke, okay? Attacking me out of nowhere but doing nothing. Absolutely nothing,” Lynch said.

Becky Lynch claims she was upset about punching WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce
Later in the same video she posted on Instagram, Lynch stated that she went into the ring to have a respectful conversation with Adam Pearce, and she would never harm him in any way. The RAW star claimed that she respected the GM and had never said anything bad about him.
Becky Lynch further claimed that she was reaching out to have a look at Sol Ruca’s contract to ensure that it didn’t include a shot at her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. But she accidentally punched Pearce instead. The 39-year-old added that it put her in a predicament with Scrap Iron, and she was very upset about it.
“I went out there to have a very civil conversation with my good friend, Adam Pearce, who, by the way, I would never harm in any way ever. No, I’ve never said a bad word against Adam Pearce. I respect him immeasurably. I was actually just reaching. I was trying to reach. I’m very strong. Sometimes, I don’t know my own strength, but I was trying to reach to see that contract because sometimes there can be hidden things in the contract. You want to make sure that she’s not getting a title shot or something. You know, like somebody snuck that in a little favor from NXT, and now I’m in hot water with Pearce, which I would never. We’ve always just had such great relationship. So, I’m very upset about it,” Lynch said.
It will be interesting to see if punching Adam Pearce leads to Becky Lynch facing some serious repercussions going forward.
