Ross Chastain earned his first pole position in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series since 2018 at Dover Motor Speedway on Saturday, turning a qualifying lap of 23.317 seconds/154.394 miles per hour around the one-mile oval.
Chastain, a full-time Cup Series driver for Trackhouse Racing, will lead the field to green for Saturday’s BetRivers 200, the 14th race of the 2026 O’Reilly Series season.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s Brandon Jones will join Chastain on the front row, with Corey Day, Rajah Caruth and Taylor Gray rounding out the top five qualifiers. Sam Mayer, Carson Kvapil, William Sawalich, Harrison Burton and defending series champion Jesse Love completed the top 10.

Other notable qualifying efforts include Sheldon Creed in 12th, Parker Retzlaff in 14th, Brent Crews in 16th, Austin Hill in 17th and Lavar Scott in 23rd.
Points leader Justin Allgaier will roll off the grid in 13th on Saturday afternoon, while David Starr will start last (38th). of the 32 drivers who made the race on time, Ryan Ellis was the slowest, laying down a lap of 24.468 seconds/147.131 miles per hour.
The BetRivers 200 will go green shortly after 4 p.m. ET Saturday, with coverage on the CW, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Pre-race coverage will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET on the CW and PRN.
