Silca has just dropped two new additions to its bag lineup. First, we have the Maratona WEB gear bag and then the Mattone WEB seat pack. Both of these new bags are designed to be super adaptable, and super versatile. You know I love me some built-in versatility.

Maratona WEB Gear Bag
Retail: $199
The Silca Maratona WEB is a 45-liter travel bag designed and built around versatility. It converts between a duffel, a backpack, and a race-day gear bag. It’s sized at 22″ x 14″ x 9″ so it will fit most airline overhead bins.

It weighs in at 1,030 grams, and it’s built from ripstop nylon with reinforced “high-wear zones”, and comes equipped with YKK Aquaguard water-resistant zippers.

One of the coolest details of the Maratona WEB is the Fidlock SNAP magnetic helmet carry system. It clips on and off one-handed and tucks away completely when you don’t need it.

Inside, you’ll find a high-contrast red lining helps you find your stuff quickly. You can stay organized as well with the dedicated pockets for shoes, dirty kit, tools, and a padded sleeve for your phone or passport.

- Fits overhead bins at 22” x 14” x 9” with a spacious 45L capacity.
- Weighs only 1030g, crafted from reinforced ripstop nylon with YKK water-resistant zippers.

Mattone WEB Seat Pack
Retail: $36
Silca considers the new Mattone WEB Seat Paock to be the “most adaptible and affordable addition to the acclaimed Mattone seat pack line”. The new pack is engineered to mount securely and deploy quickly.

It’s a saddle bag that’s focused on staying compact until you need more space. The semi-elasticized mesh side gussets let it expand around whatever you’re carrying. And the Hypalon BOA closure system cinches the volume down tight to stop any rattling on rough roads or trails.

Reinforced stability strap help keep it from swaying under the saddle. That means that when lightly loaded, it sits close and out of the way. Additionally, the unique mesh side panels provide flexible capacity on the fly.

Those convenient lil’ mesh side panels offer the perfect spot to store unexpected items you may find along the way. Like say a pocket knife or an 8 mm socket spotted in the bike lane. Who knows.
Mattone WEB Key Features
- Semi-elasticized side panel gussets allow for flexible, expandable internal capacity.
- 360° Ripstop nylon body provides robust structure, weather resistance, and long-term durability.
- Hypalon BOA closure system dynamically adjusts pack volume and locks the bag in place.
- Reinforced stability strap eliminates bag sway, even on rough surfaces.
- Compact profile compresses tightly when lightly loaded, remaining completely out of the rider’s way.
Together, these two new bags by Silca cover different ends of the cycling journey: One for getting to the ride, and one for handling whatever comes up during it. Check out the link below for more cool items from Silca.
