    Mosaic Cycles Introduces Zero Components Starting w/ Carbon Forks for Road, All-Road, Gravel & 32″ Bikes

    I would imagine that when you’re a bicycle frame builder, there would be times when your visions or ideas for a frame would get stifled by what’s available in the component world. That’s precisely what happened for the crew at Mosaic Cycles. As a result, Aaron Barcheck, the founder of Mosaic Cycles, just launched a new component brand to eliminate that issue. The new component line is called Zero Components. Today, they announce their new carbon fork lineup built for modern bike needs.

    The idea grew out of a recurring frustration: the parts needed to build certain bikes simply didn’t exist on the market. The solution was to start designing the components themselves.

    Zero Components is Born

    Zero Components is the result of that thinking. It’s spun out from Mosaic’s internal Zero Ops R&D program into a standalone brand. You can see one of their forks on Mosaic’s new 32″ wheeled gravel race bike, the GT i55 32.

    The brand is positioning itself to serve a wider audience than just Mosaic customers. Every Mosaic bike will be equipped with Zero Components forks going forward (starting at the MADE Bicycle Show).

    The new products are also being made available to individual riders looking to upgrade an existing build. The new Zero forks will be available to independent frame builders and small manufacturers as well.

    The launch lineup centers on four carbon forks covering road, all-road, gravel, and the growing 32-inch gravel category. Each fork is designed with geometry, tire clearance, and details specific to its intended riding style. These new forks are not a one-size-fits-all solution.

    Shared across the range are tapered steerers, thru axles, flat mount disc brakes, and both internal and external brake routing options. All four forks have been tested to the ISO 4210 standard.
