WWE Hall of Famer reports unfortunate theft incident at recent event; issues warning

A WWE Hall of Famer opened up about a theft incident at a recent show. The wrestling veteran had a strong message to the two people involved.

WWE legend Mick Foley had his shirts stolen at an event in the UK

Earlier today, Mick Foley posted a video of himself on Instagram Stories speaking about an unfortunate incident during a show in Birmingham, UK. The 61-year-old stated that his shirts got a bid of 900 pounds during his recent auction for the Cauliflower Alley Club.

The former three-time WWF Champion noted that he signed both the shirts and took pictures with the people who bid for them. However, they ran away without paying any money. Foley further stated that some people came forward with donations and they were able to raise about 600 dollars for the Cauliflower Alley Club.

“Hello everybody, it’s the hardcore legend Mick Foley en route to Cardiff, Wales, following one of my favorite shows I’ve ever done. It was in Birmingham, UK, where we had an unfortunate incident that showed both the worst that mankind, not the wrestler, but the people have to offer, but also the best. As many of you know, I do a nightly shirt off my back auction for Cauliflower Alley Club that has raised more than $40,000 for wrestlers in need. And last night I was thrilled to get a winning bid of 900 sterling, 900 pounds. That’s over $1,000 in U.S. money. I took photos with these guys, thanked them thoroughly, signed both the t-shirt I was wearing and the outer shirt. And then they ran. They ran. They did a runner. They took off without paying. Three or four other people came forward with donations so that all in all, we were able to donate $600 to the Cauliflower Alley Club,” Foley said.

The WWE legend then issued a warning to the two people who stole the shirts. Mick Foley pointed out that the venue had multiple cameras. He threatened to take strong action if they did not right their wrong in a couple of days.

“But I’d like to address those two guys who chose to run. You know who you are. We know who you are. And we’re going to give you a couple of days to do the right thing. At the very least, return the shirt. It would be really nice if you made a donation. I don’t expect 900 pounds. That’s a lot of money. Maybe you guys shouldn’t do that when you’re drinking. Maybe you shouldn’t make promises you can’t keep. But if you don’t do something, some small way of atoning, not only will you know who you are, not only will I know who you are, but a lot of people will know who you are because there were cameras everywhere. Thanks again, everyone else out there. I’m having a great time. I’m not going to let that little incident mar what has been a spectacular time over here in the U.K. And have a nice day,” he added.

Mick Foley officially ended ties with WWE in December 2025, and his existing WWE Legends contract formally expired earlier this year in June. He signed with AEW in May.
