Next November 7, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will once again be bathed in green with the XIII edition of the Binter NightRun, a race that has turned the night into the best moment to discover the city on foot and be part of the green wave.
The Plaza de Canarias will be the start and finish line for the three distances: Green Family Mile, 5K and 10K, with starts at 19:15, 20:00 and 21:00 hours, respectively.
For those looking for something more than a popular race, the RFEA-approved 10K is an attractive addition: the times recorded are official and can count toward rankings, personal bests, and classifications. The course also invites runners to pass through the city’s most recognizable areas: the port zone, Las Canteras Beach, and a very special stretch by the Arsenal, before returning to the finish.
But the Binter NightRun Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is more than a race; it is music, batucadas, and various animation points that turn the streets into part of the spectacle. It is an experience.
And behind the party there is also a marked charitable, sustainable and inclusive character. The Green Family Mile donates its proceeds to social projects, while the organization maintains measures to reduce waste and facilitates participation of people with disabilities with adapted courses and free registration in the 5K and 10K distances.
