All Completed Manchester City Transfers in 2026/27

Manchester City are under new management for the first time in a decade for the 2026/27 season, with Enzo Maresca taking over from Pep Guardiola after his departure from the Etihad.

City missed out on the Premier League title to Arsenal last season but still secured a domestic cup double, and the club spent big to rebuild their midfield following some legendary departures.

New Man City Signings 2026/27

Total summer spend: £464.2m

Elliot Anderson joined from Nottingham Forest for £116m, smashing Man City’s transfer record only for a couple of months, as Enzo Fernandez arrived for £125m from Chelsea on deadline day.

They are joined by Ayyoub Bouaddi to form the club’s new look midfield following the Morocco starlet’s stunning World Cup campaign, and Iliman Ndiaye was brought in to provide competition on the wing and in attacking midfield.

Allan, Mathys Detourbet and Jeremy Monga all arrived as attacking additions for the future. Detourbet and Monga were quickly sent out on loan to further their development, to Monaco and Swansea respectively.

Pierce Charles completes a smaller £3m move from Sheffield Wednesday and has also been granted a temporary exit to QPR, while

Gerónimo Rulli has arrived in a £1.7m deal to add experience in the goalkeeping department.

Man City Departures 2026/27

Total summer sales: £304.95m

Bernardo Silva and John Stones have both left the Etihad on free transfers as the Guardiola era comes to a close, while Rodri has joined Barcelona for a fixed fee of £51.3m, though add-ons could take that figure as high as £65.4m.

An even bigger exit was sanctioned when Savinho headed to Tottenham to the tune of an almighty £75m, potentially rising to £85m, while Omar Marmoush joined the Brazilian on loan with an obligation to buy and Tijjani Reijnders‘ move to Saudi Arabia banked a hefty profit.

Nathan Ake has also departed, moving to Fenerbahce for £7m, while James Trafford and Nico Gonzalez move on in search of more playing time, joining Leeds and Newcastle respectively.

Manuel Akanji has completed a permanent move to Inter Milan for £13m after impressing during a loan spell in Serie A. Reigan Heskey and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey have both joined Koln, for £8m and £4.65m respectively.

Sverre Nypan, thought to be one of the brightest young prospects at the club, joined Belgian side Lommel on loan.
