Speed is a crucial stat that must be gained throughout Steal a Chicken gameplay. A high Speed stat lets you reach distant zones quickly, steal chickens, and bring them back to your base before the animals guarding them can land a hit. The stolen chickens can be placed in the coop to obtain eggs, which sell for Cash, the in-game currency required for purchases and upgrades.
Here’s how you can increase your Speed rapidly in Steal a Chicken.
How to get Speed quickly in Steal a Chicken

Speed is mostly required for outrunning the animals guarding eggs on the map. The Level 1 Treadmill gives you 20 Speed every second, but as you upgrade the machine, the stat gains improve drastically. Currently, the Treadmill can be upgraded 10 times either by using Cash or Robux.
If you are a new player, follow these steps to get Speed quickly in Steal a Chicken:
- Obtain chickens for your coop: Chickens lay eggs that can be sold for Cash. Prioritize stealing fowls of higher weight because they give heavier eggs that sell for more money.
- Purchase a Trail: Buying a Trail is a must. A Trail not only gives special effects to your character while it is running but also increases its Speed multiplier.
- Upgrade the Treadmill: Sell eggs and get money consistently to upgrade the Treadmill. The higher the machine’s level, the more Speed is earned by your character while using it for training.
- Get heavier chickens from distant zones: In the mid-game phase, venture into Snow and Volcano zones to pick up rare chickens. Put them in the coop to gain eggs that sell for millions of Cash.
- Purchase the Celestial Trail: The Celestial Trail offers the highest Speed multiplier (12x). Buy it before making any Treadmill upgrades.
- Attend Admin Abuse events: During these admin events, the developers give server-wide Speed and Cash boosts. Capitalize on them to get Speed quickly from the Treadmill.
To steal eggs from the Candy zone, the game recommends a minimum Speed of 370 billion. Strive to obtain this much Speed by AFKing on the Treadmill.
