How to complete the Unknown Resonant in Control Resonant
1) Answer the Distress Call in the Unknown

Use the gravity well to reach the location of the resonant. Once you get close, you will hear a distress call from Arish, who is asking if anyone can hear him.
2) Get to the Rangers

As you talk with Arish, who notes that his head is hurting, head through the blue double doors. Go right and enter the next set of double doors where you will meet up with the Rangers. They are in the middle of a scuffle, so lend them a hand.
Once the fight’s over, open the next set of doors remotely and advance with the Rangers.

4) Disrupt the Pattern

You can disrupt the pattern by hitting the floating toll booths. Hit all four to successfully disrupt the pattern and complete this objective.
However, you have to still progress with the previous objectives. When you and the Rangers try to progress further, a wave of pain washes over all of you. Arish feels it too as he contacts you as he thinks he is meant to stop what is causing it. Head right for another fight.
5) Open the Gate for the Rangers

Once the fight is over, keep going until you end up at a blocked gate. The remote location to open the door is towards your left.
- Jump off the bus hovering over the ledge.
- You will see the remote switch so interact with it and activate it.
- Hit the orange power source and head back to the rangers’ location.
- Hit the orange power source located there to open the door.
As you and the rangers progress, another wave of pain washes over you. This doesn’t last long, as you enter another fight while Arish talks with you. He mentions that he is in his office as something appears to be closing in on him.
Once you have finished the fight, advance with the rangers toward the double doors on the left. Make your way up the stairs until you enter a new area. Head left, where you will face another blocked gate on the right.

6) Look for a way around the Gate

While the rangers plan to blow up the gate, it’s up to you to find an alternate path to reach Arish quicker. Head up the building on your right. Leap across the rooftops and then head towards the area with the visible stop sign. As this is going on, Arish talks to you and asks that you have his team’s backs.
Head left where you will see Arish’s office. As you keep going, Arish notes that there’s a Resonant nearby. You try to reassure him and press forward.

7) Survive the Ambush

You are swarmed by enemies as you get closer to Arish’s office. Deal with them as the rangers break through the gate at the same time to back you up. Once you do, another wave of pain hits all of you. At the same time, Arish notes that he cannot see the Resonant and asks you for help.
As you make your way to the elevator, Arish’s tone changes. He asks how Dylan felt when he changed and notes that his headache is gone. Exit the elevator to face a cutscene. We see the co-director has made a pattern out of rangers and has taken out two of those standing with you. It is time to take him down as he is the Unknown Resonant.

8) Kill the Resonant

All your other objectives are complete as you have advanced with the rangers to the location of the Unknown Resonant and answered the distress call from Arish. Now you have to take him down in a final fight. You have to avoid his mind beams while also having to deal with rangers that he mind controls to fight for him.
After you take Arish down, Dylan apologizes to him. You gain the command ability after defeating him, which allows you to control an enemy’s mind and have them fight on your behalf.
