Madrid Corre en Español is gearing up. Less than a month remains before the capital becomes a grand festival of sport and gastronomy, where all accents come together in a single language and a single race. In its inaugural edition, Madrid Corre en Español will bring the color, happiness, and diversity of the Spanish-speaking community to the streets of Madrid. With start and finish on the esplanade of Puente del Rey, in the heart of Madrid Río, these 10 kilometers will be a musical and folkloric journey through the cultural richness that unites the 22 countries that share Spanish as their language.
Dances, live music, and many surprises await in 10 fun and engaging kilometers that will trace Avenida de Valladolid, Paseo de Camoens, Calle Princesa, Plaza de España, Cuesta de San Vicente, Paseo de Extremadura, and the surroundings of the Casa de Campo lake.
The celebration does not end at the finish line. On the return to the Puente del Rey esplanade, runners will collect their refreshments and will be able to visit Agave y Maíz Mexican Festival. With free access, participants can recharge by enjoying tacos and other Mexican gastronomic offerings. All 100% Mexican.

Madrid Corre en Español forms part of the Hispanidad 2026 events, through which the Community of Madrid aims to become a bridge between continents and a world capital for the Spanish-speaking community, with more than 600 million people united by a single language.
Agave and Maíz Mexican Festival
From October 9 to 12, Agave and Maíz Mexican Festival, the largest festival of Mexican cooking and culture arrives in Madrid. Casetas, barras, música y cultura mexicana, in a space to feel the magic of Mexico in an idyllic Madrid setting.
Furthermore, during the festival, Madrid’s top Mexican restaurants will stage a duel to determine the best taco, the best sandwich, and the best cocktail in Madrid. All backed by the prestigious Copil Seal. These delicacies up for tasting can be sampled during these days at the Agave y Maíz Festival Mexicano. Access to the venue is free and no pre-reservation is required.
