Unbound by Genus is a unique title in Aion 2 that can be obtained by completing specific tasks in the game. There are quite a few unique titles in the game. They are gold-plated and grant a hefty amount of stats that may or may not be good for your character.
Regardless, for the sake of a completionist’s dream, unlocking all of them becomes much more necessary, and the Genus system tied to the Pets is one of them.

Aion 2: Unlocking the Unbound by Genus title
To summarize, the Unbound by Genus title can be earned if you level up all your available Genus Insights to 10. This means that the Insights of Cogni, Fera, Natura, Varian, and Special need to be at 10.
Doing so will progress the “Genus Genius” achievement. Rewards from completing this achievement include the title “Unbound by Genus,” alongside 20,000 Kina (Bound).
To level up Insight, you will need Soul Crystal and Bound Kina. The cost progressively gets higher as you level up Insights, up to 8x Soul Crystals and 8,000x Kina to level up from 8 to 9.
Note that locking a stat on the board, located on the right-hand side of the Genus, will also increase the required cost of Analyze/leveling up.
Hence, if you simply want to reach level 10 on the Genus Insight for the title and the achievement, simply click on the Analyze option without locking any stat.

How to farm Soul Crystals in Aion 2
You can get Soul Crystals from the Shugo Festival shop, where you can purchase 100x Crystals at once in exchange for 50x Centuryroot Tokens.
At the time of writing this article, both the free and paid tracks of Daeva Pass, Ishalgen Mercenary are giving away Soul Crystals as well.
Lastly, one of the best places for Soul Crystals is the Hidden Cube in the open world, which can be opened using the Key: Hidden Cube, and yields a lot of Soul Crystals upon use. They can be scattered across different corners of the open world.
What is the real use for Genus Insight?
Genus Insight grants passive stat bonuses that can be beneficial to your character. They can be rerolled, as mentioned earlier, to gain the perfect stats for your build.
Do you really need Genus Insight passives to make a build work?
No. However, Genus Insight stats are more of a “nice-to-have” when min-maxing your character for high-tier content, such as the Ludra Raid.
