AEW and WWE are fierce competitors. The latter recently held Money in the Bank in New Orleans, Louisiana. Penta won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, while Tiffany Stratton won the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Both showdowns delivered. AEW National Champion reacted to Penta’s triumph.
Penta and Andrade are good friends in real life. Penta was under AEW’s banner from 2019 to 2024. He held the World Tag Team Championship once and the World Trios Championship once in the Tony Khan-led promotion. He is having an excellent WWE run, but many fans miss seeing him on All Elite Wrestling. Perhaps he will rejoin the Jacksonville-based company someday.
Andrade had an amazing reaction to Penta winning the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. He released a statement on X congratulating his friend. He was overjoyed that Mexican wrestlers were doing so well.
“Congratulations to a good friend and teammate @PENTAELZEROM Long live Mexico, you b*stards!!” he said.
WWE star Chad Gable on former AEW World Tag Team Champion Penta
In a recent appearance on Insight, Chad Gable showered Penta with praise. He said that he has amazing chemistry with him in the ring and added that the former AEW star is an incredible human being.
“Yeah, another one of those dance partners that I just got lucky with, Penta, man, could talk all day about his wrestling, but he’s just the greatest human being. What an incredible human being! From the moment I met him, we clicked, we hit it off great, but I don’t want to say that that’s unique to me because Penta hits it off great with everybody. He’s just that kind of person. He’s so affable and just a joy to be around. He’s always got a smile on his face. He’s so funny, and just like the most effortlessly cool guy you’ve ever met. Just cool, and fortunately enough, we are great dance partners as well,” said Gable.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Penta. There is a strong possibility that he will become the Undisputed WWE Champion or the World Heavyweight Champion soon.
