Blockbuster Announcement Made On Will Ospreay’s Immediate AEW Future

Will Ospreay is a top name in All Elite Wrestling. He has been competing in the Owen Hart Cup as of late and looks forward to becoming the number one contender for the AEW World Championship. Now, in the semi-finals of the tournament, Ospreay will face one of the biggest challenges of his year.

The Ariel Assassin will face Mark Davis this week on Dynamite. Davis and Ospreay collided earlier this year on the 22nd April episode of Dynamite. The Don Callis Family member went on to decimate the former International Champion in the ring. The referee had to stop the match due to Will’s concerning condition. However, Davis still went on to attack Ospreay in the ring until Death Riders came to his rescue.

Now, Ospreay and Davis will once again be against each other in the ring. This time it would be the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Semi-Finals. Over the past few weeks, The Ariel Assassin has been training with Death Riders and Jon Moxley. This week, it is going to be an ultimate test for his training against Mark Davis.

With that said, it will be interesting to see how things will unfold when the two rivals get their rematch this week on Dynamite. The winner of this match will advance to the finals of this year’s Owen Hart Cup. He will square off with the winner of the other semi-final between Swerve Strickland and Brody King.

Will Ospreay claims he is the best wrestler in the world

Currently, the world of professional wrestling is stacked with top-tier talent. Over the years, Will Ospreay has solidified his position as one of the best wrestlers in the world. Recently, The Ariel Assassin took his claims a little further following his big win over former AEW World Champion Samoa Joe.

During the AEW Double or Nothing media scrum, Ospreay called himself the best wrestler in the world. He appeared pretty confident following his win and his ongoing training with Death Riders.

“When everybody talks about an elite pro wrestler, there’s no one better on this planet. I am ready to take AEW to new heights,” said Will Ospreay. [H/T SKWrestling_ on X]
