All Completed Everton Transfers in 2026/27

Everton were involved in one of the Premier League‘s most bizarre sagas on transfer deadline day, with the Toffees failing to land a new striker for David Moyes.

Everton agreed a deal to sign Monaco striker Folarin Balogun, but were forced to renegotiate following problems with the medical, only for the player himself to then pull out at the last second despite a new agreement being found.

New Everton Signings 2026/27

Total summer spend: £62.5m

Merlin Rohl arrived from Freiburg for around £22m, with the German attacking midfielder brought in to add creativity to Moyes’ options in the final third. Rohl spent last season on loan with the Toffees, scoring once in the Premier League from 16 appearances.

Tyrique George also makes a loan move permament, joining from Chelsea for around £18m after an impressive temporary stay on Merseyside last season, while Hayden Hackney completes a move from Middlesbrough.

Hackney was a standout performer in Boro’s promotion push, and he is also joined by Brennan Johnson, who arrives from Crystal Palace, and fomrer Arsenal starlet Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who can play a number of positions for Moyes.

Everton Departures 2026/27

Total summer sales: £92.6m

Iliman Ndiaye is the biggest sale of the summer, joining Manchester City after he looked to be heading to Tottenham, and Beto joining Fiorentina further weakens the attacking ranks.

Idrissa Gueye, Tyler Onyango and long-serving captain Seamus Coleman have all left the Hill Dickinson on free transfers this summer, while Tim Iroegbunam joined Hull City for a fee that could rise a further £9m to a total of £22m if add-ons are met.

Youngsters Isaac Heath and Francis Okoronkwo have both completed permanent moves away having spent most of the last couple of seasons out on loan, while Dwight McNeil was swapped in order to bring in Johnson.

Who is Everton’s Record Signing?

Everton’s record signing is Gylfi Sigurdsson, who joined from Swansea City in 2017 for a fee of £45m.

The Iceland international never quite lived up to the price tag over the following five years, scoring just 31 times in 156 appearances, but the size of the fee has stood the test of time as the Toffees’ biggest ever outlay on a single player.

Who is Everton’s Record Sale?

Everton’s record sale is Romelu Lukaku, sold to Manchester United in 2017 for £75m.

The Belgian striker starred at Goodison Park between 2013 and 2017, scoring goals freely after first arriving on loan from Chelsea, before United and Jose Mourinho came calling with a deal that could have risen as high as £90m.

The Belgium star has one of the highest combined fees of all time from his various moves over the last decade, with clubs spending over £314m on the striker in total.
