Bhilwara Kings (BHK) will look to continue their winning momentum in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2023 when they take on Gujarat Giants (GG) on Wednesday, November 22 at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.
The Kings faced the India Capitals in the opening encounter of the six-team tournament. Thanks to an awe-inspiring 19-ball 65 from captain Irfan Pathan, the Kings chased down a 229-run target with three wickets and four balls to spare. Apart from the former India all-rounder, Zimbabwean batter Solomon Mire also starred with the bat as he scored a 40-ball 70.
Gujarat, on the other hand, are coming off a 10-run defeat against Manipal Tigers as Parthiv Patel and Co. couldn’t chase down a target of 174 runs. Rajat Bhatia bowled well for Gujarat as he finished with figures of 3/31. Legendary batters, Chris Gayle and Jacques Kallis opened the innings and added 79 runs off 42 balls but the blistering start went in vain as the other batters couldn’t capitalise.
