Popular streamer Yonna has reacted to Megan Thee Stallion accusing Klay Thompson of allegedly cheating on her.
Speaking on her stream on April 26, Yonna weighed in on rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s recent statements, indicating that Klay Thompson cheated on her. The rapper announced that she’s ended her relationship with Thompson amid reports of infidelity. Yonna said:
“Don’t say I don’t understand how this is my thing. You can really not trust no man like you just can’t. And it’s proven and proven time again, like it’s proven and proven time again. That’s why, whenever you get in a relationship, for all you little ones out there, for boys and girls, they need to prove to you treat them guilty until proven innocent.”
She continued:
“Can I let you in my life? Like, can I let you know what I’m saying? Yada actually told me this. She said every man should start off in jail and prove why they should do that.”
Megan Thee Stallion reportedly began dating NBA star Klay Thompson in July 2025. The two made their first appearance as a couple in New York in the same month. However, the rapper confirmed that the two have broken up in a statement shared on April 25 (Saturday), after seemingly alleging on Instagram that the Dallas Mavericks star cheated on her.
Megan Thee Stallion alleges Klay Thompson cheated on her as she confirms split
In a statement via Billboard, Megan Thee Stallion confirmed that she’s broken up with Klay Thompson, less than a year after they began dating. She said:
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
On the same day (April 25), Stallion shared an Instagram story, where she alleged that Klay Thompson cheated on her. She wrote:
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet’. Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’????”
She added:
“B—- I need a REAL break after this one .. by yall.”
In a January interview with PEOPLE, Megan Thee Stallion had opened up about how she began dating Klay Thompson. She said:
“Well, I don’t never want to tell [anybody] to just jump in a relationship just because everybody else got one, and I’m not going to tell you to just jump in a relationship because you have to. I didn’t even know I was going to be in my relationship, to be honest. This is one of the first times that I’ve ever been just overly comfortable. I’m comfy, babe!”
Thompson has yet to comment on the split.
