    “I cry watching Disney films” – Ian Garry says his feminine side helps him be more masculine

    Ian Garry believes getting in touch with one’s feminine side helps them become more masculine. During a recent interview, the fighter revealed why tapping into his feminine side was so important to him.

    Garry is set to take on Islam Makhachev for the welterweight title at UFC 330 on August 15 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During an interview with High Performance in the lead-up to the event, Garry said:

    “I cry watching Disney films. I’m so in touch with my feminine side that I feel like I’m more masculine because of it. And I don’t care what people think about me. I don’t care about people’s opinions of me or of what I do.”

    Garry added:

    “I love who I am, and I am constantly trying to be a better human, a better person, a better father, a better husband, and a better fighter every day of my life. Then if I’m not doing that, I’m not going in the direction I see.”

    During the same interview, the fighter also claimed that women were better at running things and that the world would be a better place if they were the ones in charge.

    The statement has since sparked a firestorm of trolling and criticism from the fighting community, including a few of his fellow UFC stars.

    Ian Garry says “taking kids out of schools” will make them “better humans”

    Among the many polarizing claims Ian Garry made during the High Performance interview was his harsh critique of the current education system. ‘The Future’ seems to believe school and college do little for the younger generation.

    During the segment, the UFC fighter explained that he attended college only to appease his mother before arguing that taking children out of school would make them better human beings:

    “I only went to college to please my mom. [She said], ‘I want you to go to college. You need to get a degree to succeed in this world.’ The typical nonsense we hear about this world today. It’s complete rubbish, in my opinion. It’s bo****ks. I believe the kids now, take as many of them out of school as physically possible, and they’ll be better, better humans.” [0:20 mark on the video]
