A top AEW star returned on Dynamite tonight and surprised fans. All In is just a few weeks away. The blockbuster show will take place at Wembley Stadium, and many major stars will be part of it. Recently, Swerve Strickland returned to the company and confronted several stars, teasing huge plans for him.
The former AEW World Champion wasn’t seen in the Jacksonville-based promotion after Forbidden Door. At the pay-per-view, he fought against Will Ospreay in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament. The two finalists tore the house down. In the end, the Aerial Assassin emerged victorious and won the Owen Hart Cup. Meanwhile, Strickland was nowhere to be seen for over a month. Fans were worried he might not be part of All In.
Last week at Grand Slam Mexico, Hangman Page, Bandido, and Brody King defeated the Demand for the AEW World Trios Championship. Tonight, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly entered the ring to address the title win and probably talk about their plans for All In. However, before the Cowboy could even speak, his arch-nemesis, Swerve Strickland, made his much-awaited return.
The Most Dangerous Man in AEW went on to confront the Good, the Bad and the Ugly and addressed his history with each of them. Later, a furious Ricochet made an appearance along with Gates of Agony and the Lethal Twist. The former National Champion claimed that Swerve shouldn’t interfere in the trios business, as he is currently alone and doesn’t have two teammates with him. The latter then left the ring. However, before leaving, he called Ricochet a ‘bi**h’.
Things are still unclear as to what Swerve Strickland will do at All In this year. It seems he will have to find two partners and challenge the current trio of champions, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
