Madison Beer fans have been upset with the nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. On Tuesday, the list was announced, and Beer received zero nominations for any of her songs. On the contrary, Travis Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, had nine nominations.

The categories for which Beer was snubbed and Swift was nominated included: Video Of The Year, Artist Of The Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Choreography and Best Visual Effects.

Beer has had hit songs like “Yes baby,” “Lovergirl” and “Bittersweet.” But none of her songs were nominated for VMAs, and fans were unhappy about it.

A fan criticizing the nomination list wrote:
“DAYLIGHT ROBBERY, WHAT THE HECK ?!?!?!?”
“Madison Beer being snubbed at the VMAs once again kkkkkkkkkkkk pathetic award show we’d rather have the GRAMMYs,” commented another fan.
“Wait there out!?! I can see them now?? And yea that doesn’t make any sense. I mean angel wings and bad enough like bad enough should be on there,” another fan commented.
Another fan highlighted Beer’s hit song that went unnoticed for nominations.
Expressing her dissatisfaction, another fan commented:
“Sorry, but they even nominated a random song in the Best Dance category, seriously, why are they refusing to give her flowers?”

Beer has yet to share her views on the VMAs, as she remained focused on cheering for Justin Herbert. On Saturday, the pop singer was at the Chargers’ practice facilities to cheer for the quarterback as he practiced for the upcoming season.

Justin Herbert and Madison Beer announced their engagement on July 28 with a joint Instagram post. While speaking to reporters at Chargers training camp on July 29, Herbert shared his experience proposing to the pop singer.
“I thought about it a lot. Much more time was put into it. I had more time to prepare for it than my first start against the Chiefs,” Herbert said.
Beer has often been trolled for her training camp visits. Amid criticism from fans blaming her visits as distractions, Jaxson Dart’s girlfriend, Marissa Ayers, took a stand for the singer as well as the community of athletes’ partners.
