“I think that would be so cool” – Kade Ruotolo hunting sibling showdown to settle budding rivalry

ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo of the United States knows who he wants to fight next.

The 23-year-old made a rousing return from a serious knee injury at The Inner Circle on May 15, where he stopped Hiroyuki ‘Japanese Beast’ Tetsuka via a vicious KO in Round 2.

The BJJ specialist showcased his improved striking, delivering a devious feint before uncorking a right-hand missile that slept the Japanese veteran. The win pushed his pristine MMA record to 4-0 and earned him a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

Now, Ruotolo hopes to finally secure a monumental fight against a member of the most famous fighting family in ONE Championship.

The idea of him and his twin brother, Tye Ruotolo, fighting Christian and Adrian Lee has floated around for a while. According to the 23-year-old two-sport athlete, there’s no better time to make that happen than now.

“A card with the Lees versus the Ruotolos. I think that would be so cool. Christian versus me, or Christian versus Tye, me versus Adrian, or something like that. It would be amazing,” he told ONE Championship.

With Kade Ruotolo back and sharper than ever, both brothers are pushing for the showdown that could define a generation.

Tye Ruotolo agrees with Kade, wants the Lees next

ONE welterweight submission grappling world champion Tye Ruotolo loves the idea of some sibling rivalry on one card.

It’s never been done in MMA before, and he hopes the dream Ruotolos vs. Lees superfight will come to reality.

“Let’s do the brothers versus brothers [Ruotolos versus Lees],” he said. “I don’t know, it would be awesome. I don’t know if they’re [the Lees] up for it,” he told ONE Championship.

“Obviously, it’s kind of like a lot to make happen. You know, getting all the brothers on the same card.”
