Ronda Rousey Unleashes On Triple H; MMA Legend Fires Zany Shots At WWE CCO: “Terrible At His Job”

Ronda Rousey recently fired shots at Triple H, who is currently at the helm of WWE as Chief Content Officer.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet worked under Vince McMahon and Hunter’s regime in WWE for two stints. After leaving the promotion, Rousey has berated WWE on multiple occasions for various reasons. At the same time, Triple H’s role as WWE CCO has been criticized by many fans on social media and by wrestling experts.

In an interview on the Up & Adams Show, Ronda Rousey addressed WWE’s parent company, TKO, announcing Conor McGregor’s UFC return during the broadcast of MVP Promotions’ Netflix event, where Rousey fought against Gina Carano in the main event. She took the opportunity to fire shots at Triple H, saying the questionable decision might have come from him and that he was terrible at his job.

“It just adds to that storyline of seeing MVP being juxtaposed to one another, and I’m like, such a, I don’t know, dumb move. I’m sure it came straight out of Hunter [laughs] coz he is objectively terrible at his job … but that kinda stuff is actually like, it’s exciting and fun, and I get to hear all the tee about what’s going on, ‘Ok this person is doing this, this person is doing that [It’s so interesting and dramatic] Yeah, its dramatic, so that part kinda appeals to me”- [12:42-13:13]

Ronda Rousey on whether she would be joining AEW

A few weeks before her MMA return, Ronda Rousey made her shocking AEW debut at the 2026 Revolution pay-per-view. She was involved in a confrontation with Timeless Toni Storm and then walked away with her former MMA cohort, Marina Shafir, who had lost a singles match to Storm prior to Rousey’s appearance.

When asked if she would be officially joining AEW after her appearance at Revolution, The Baddest Woman on the Planet declined, claiming that life on the road was a lot time-consuming.

“No. That life of being on the road is probably more time-consuming than doing training camp at home. I had a great time but it just happened to be in town and my best friend was there,” she said. [H/T – Fightful]

While Rousey has turned down the idea to join AEW as an official member of the roster, there still could be possibilities of sporadic appearances moving forward.
