Eusebio Cáceres never stops making history. At 34 years old, the Alicante-born athlete will compete this Wednesday in Birmingham in his seventh final of an outdoor European Championship, a milestone that allows him to tie with Jesús España and Chuso García Bragado as the Spaniards with the most appearances in continental finals. But Cáceres is not content with the number: he arrives at this new appointment with the fourth-best jump in the rankings, 8.24 meters, and with the hope of finally being on an international podium.
