#3. Hope true: Roman Reigns character update for title defense
On the September 14 edition of WWE RAW, which will be live from Mexico City, Roman Reigns is set to defend his World title against Penta. The masked man defeated Rey Fenix in the tournament finals to earn a title shot.
Recently, The Bloodline Saga has taken an interesting turn as Royce Keys and OTM attacked the family group on RAW. Though the Reigns-led faction appears to be a babyface in that feud, The Head of the Table will be playing his heel character against Penta.
We hope the rumor is true because the former AEW star is already a pure babyface on the red brand. Roman working as a heel would help the 41-year-old gain more support from the Mexican crowd.
#2. Hope true: Bronson Reed return status
Over the past few months, Bronson Reed has been notably absent from WWE television. He was written off TV after suffering a real-life injury. Since then, Reed has teased his comeback multiple times online, but now reports have provided a big update on his status.
According to reports, The Tsunami will return to Monday Night RAW this month as a full-timer. This means Triple H-led creative is expected to book him regularly on TV. After months away, The Vision member’s return now appears certain, and we hope that the rumor is true.
Reed will be a good addition to the mid-card division and add a new layer to The Vision storyline.
#1. Hope true: Bayley is expected to remain part of WWE
Bayley’s WWE status remains uncertain as she is absent from the sports entertainment juggernaut. Fans are also concerned about her future because her contract is expiring soon, and there is no official confirmation regarding a new deal.
Amid this, reports claimed that The Hugger is expected to remain with WWE and return to television in the next few weeks. We hope that the rumor is true, as the former Women’s Champion should return to Monday Night RAW and finish her unfinished business with Lyra Valkyria.
#2. Hope not true: Rhea Ripley’s status for Wrestlepalooza 2026
This year, the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event will take place live from Perth, Australia, which is Rhea Ripley’s hometown. Currently, The Eradicator is off television due to a real-life injury.
Amid this, sources have claimed that the company is hopeful for Mami’s return and her traveling to Australia if she gets healthy enough. However, there is no confirmation regarding her in-ring involvement.
We hope that the rumor is not true, as the company should keep Rhea off TV for Wrestlepalooza if she isn’t returning to the squared circle.
#1. Hope not true: Another WWE star’s contract expiring
Already, major names have left the TKO-led promotion this year as WWE failed to negotiate new contracts with them. Recently, reports indicated that Ivy Nile’s contract is set to expire this fall, and there is no update regarding her new contract.
Although reports have stated that the company had plans for her, the recent developments are a major concern. We hope the rumor that the Triple H-led promotion isn’t offering Ivy Nile a new contract is false.
The company should keep Nile in the women’s division, as she can be a great addition to the mid-card division.
